Former HR and learning/development executive turned energetic corporate training leader, Paul is the Director of Alibi Training Australia, a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) specialising in People Profiling, Supervisory, Management, Sales, Presentation skills and Human Resources training. He has designed and delivered training programs for some of the nations largest companies both in government and the private sector.
He holds an undergraduate degree in Business (majoring in Human Resource Management), Diploma in Management, Cert IV in Training & Assessment and Aircraft Engineer Licence.
What makes his approach to business presenting and training different is a method he developed from 28 years in the Aviation business. This methodolgy is to explain and highlight the ‘WHY’ – why learning is important, why it is exciting and satisfying. Why people should sacrifice their time, efforts and attention should be very clear at the workplace. If this WHY part has been addressed expertly, the training itself is much easier
and more effective, and often accompanied by a feeling of awakening (E.g. ‘the penny drops’); the person feels like they have made a big step forward, which of course they have..train people in WHY, they do things rather than just showing them HOW.
